Antima's talented designers create unique concepts to meet each client's specific needs. Below is a brief interview with our Design Manager, Vjekoslav Miloradovic, to better understand what influences the creativity of our team.
What does creativity mean to you?
It's something very personal and varies from one person to another. It is a process where we try to create something. In this case at Antima, we try to create a form.
Where do you gather Inspiration?
Mostly from nature or just by looking around me, from Art works, galleries, car shows etc When I close my eyes I can see new forms and in this way I can upgrade the whole creation.
What does the word "Innovation" suggest to you?
Something new, when forms and functions merge together. Its not just about one thing, the creation has to have not only a visual value it also has to solve an existing problem; it has to look better and improved.
Why do you enjoy sketching watches?
It's dynamic, exciting and since we are also in the fashion watch business, it changes fast. Client's needs are always different. The range goes from diving watches to pure fashion catwalk pieces.
How do you go about sketching a dial?
It is different from a case or a bracelet which is in metal or a fabric. Once the technical side has been settled then my personal sensibility will come into play. It will depend on the functions of the watch first and then I will be able to work on a 3 dimensional graphic that I will build up throughout the process.
Does your creativity occasionally switch off?
Of course, this is in fact the only way to be able to have new fresh ideas. If you don't switch off, you will soon go into creative overload. I relax by doing sports.
